Lord, steady my heart. Lead me in paths of righteousness for Your Name’s sake, for the world has gone mad and the darkness grows. Awaken the dawn, Lord …
Because of Your mercy and goodness, please awaken the dawn.
You are the Light of the world ! I am Your Light-bearer. Forgive me when I allow my light to grow dim. Forgive me for when I believe the report of the news channels, and not the report of the Lord — YOU are in control. Your love will prevail. You have made me an overcomer.
Awaken the dawn in me, Lord. Stir up tenacious faith that will not waver. Keep my eyes focused on You, and not circumstances.
I will proclaim Your goodness. I will make known Your deeds so that others will know — so that others will come to the saving grace of Jesus.
If I am faithful to do my part, if I pursue holiness as You are holy, Your light in me will grow, the darkness will be diffused within my realm of influence.
Let it Begin With Me
Help me see this, Lord. Give me courage to do my part — to carry hope with me, to be a light in the darkness.
Awaken the dawn, Lord, across the earth, and let it begin with me.
