I'm stretching my arms up to You Father, that I might be carried by You.
I’m stretching my arms up to You Father, that I might be carried by You.

” … in the wilderness. There you saw how the Lord your God carried you as a father carries his son all the way you went until you reached this place.” ~ Deuteronomy 1:31, NIV

Bless You, O Lord, for You are the Almighty God, worthy of all praise. Your faithfulness is great, Your love beyond comprehension.

Oh For the Wonder of Being Carried by Him

You go before me where there seems to be no way. You lead me in paths of righteousness for Your Name’s sake. I know You are my joy, my peace, my strength.

But some days I am just too tired to keep trudging through this … this wilderness. That’s what it is, isn’t it Lord? A wilderness. Yet, you must have led me here, because You go before me, right? There must be divine, eternal purpose in this dry and barren land.

You are my streams in the desert.

His Father's love has carried me. He is my sure place in this wilderness season.
His Father’s love has carried me. He is my sure place in this wilderness season.

You are the river that flows to quench my thirst.

And You are the One who promises to carry me like a father carries his child through the wilderness places.

That’s what I’m asking Lord — that’s the promise I’m standing on today:

That I will be carried by You awhile as I find my way through this place You’ve brought me to.

I recognize Your hand in all things. I know and believe that You work everything together for my good.

So therefore I know that You are with me even now — especially now — in this desolate place.

You Have Carried Me Thus Far and I Know You Will Continue

He has faithfully carried me through the difficult places.
He has faithfully carried me through the difficult places.

I’m stretching my arms up to You Father, that I might be carried by You. Lift me up into Your arms where I can find rest, hear Your heartbeat, and find the strength to cross over to the other side of this difficult place.

I know You will, Lord. I know You will honor Your word to carry me when the going gets too hard. Thank You, Lord. Thank You for being my sure place in this season of difficult change.

I love You, Lord. I trust You with all my heart.

In Jesus’s Name I pray,

Amen
