When our need is great, He is greater still.

When our need is great, He is greater still.

“And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity.” ~ 2 Corinthians 9:8, AMP

Lord, I love You. You are the great God — the One True God — and I belong to You. Yes! Because of Jesus, I belong to You and You belong to me.

How can it be? Such amazing love.

Thank You, Lord for Your love that carries me across troubled waters, that picks me up when I stumble. Thank You for Your grace that sustains and wraps me in the knowledge that You are near.

When my need is great, I trust in Him.

When my need is great, I trust in Him.

You are my Refuge, my Strength, my Peace. You are my Healer, my Restorer, my Provider.

You are my God.

My need is bigger than me, Lord, and I know I am not alone. Many of us struggle with financial burdens that weigh a ton. Many have loved ones fighting illness. Many are fighting disease themselves.

Life in a fallen world wears us down and leaves depression in its wake. The condition of our hearts struggle and our lights grow dim. We are worn and our needs are great.

But You are greater.

And You remain.

You remain steadfast and faithful, merciful and kind. Nothing is too difficult for You.

I pray for those of us standing at the foot of the cross reaching out to You in our time of need. In Your great mercy hear our cry, Lord.

When your need is great, call on Him. He is faithful.

When your need is great, call on Him. He is faithful.

I ask that You restore broken relationships.

Bring the prodigal home.

I ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings of financial provision, healing, and peace — peace in the midst of the storm.

We look to You, Lord, and trust You with our needs, for they are many.

You are the river in our wasteland, the light in our darkness. In You we have all that we need.

It is You that we love — not Your gifts, but You.

Draw us near Lord. Open our eyes to see You in our midst.

Thank You for Your tender watchcare.

In Jesus’ Name I pray,

Amen
