What a great post, Nan! I absolutely loved it! Although, I always love your writing…so what's new? To know Him in the fellowship of His sufferings, ouch! We don't like to suffer. As Christians, we somehow think we're immune to it. But for heaven's sake, what makes us think that if Christ suffered, we're not going to experience it? Love you, precious friend!
You are absolutely correct, Jamie. When we suffer for righteousness' sake, we learn that our faith really is more precious than gold. That is a lesson the world cannot take away.
