At the mention of His Name through prayer, He draws us close to His heart.
Lord, it is so awesome to rest in the knowledge that You are who You say You are. Thank You. Thank You for being my sure place. Some days I can barely utter a prayer, and yet You remain with me. At the mention of Your Name, You draw me in — hiding me beneath the shelter of Your wing. I’m so glad You know my heart without me having to explain everything that is just too complicated for me to explain. I find rest in that Truth.
I ask that You pour out Your grace in abundance on Your children who are weary and distracted from the work of their hands. Help them regain their focus. Rekindle Your flame within them, and within me. You are our light in the darkness, our calm in the storm. You are our joy, our peace, and our strength.
It is You, Lord, that we love. It is You that we worship and adore. You alone are worthy of our praise. We bless Your holy Name.
