Jesus said, "whoever drinks the water that I give him will never be thirsty again. "

Jesus said, “whoever drinks the water that I give him will never be thirsty again. “

Great are You, Lord — Your faithfulness, Your mercy, Your grace. They are new every morning, provided by Your hand to meet my needs throughout the day. You have taught me to gather these things of grace every morning. Like manna in the wilderness, Your grace sustains me. Your Living Water quenches my thirst.

But I must seek You first, be still and know, and receive the gifts from Your hand.

I am blessed to have learned these truths, Lord. Thank You for teaching me. Forgive me for the times I ignore Your call asking me to spend time with You. Please forgive the callousness of my heart that appears some days and reminds me that I am a work in progress and can be a stubborn, little woman.

I’m sorry, Lord.

You are so good to us Father. So faithful and kind. I bring these, Your children, before You — those who need to be refreshed by Your Living Water. Many are parched with great thirst, for the days are difficult and the struggle real.

I ask that You restore to them the joy of their salvation, satisfy the longing in their hearts as they feast on Your Word and adore You through worship. You alone satisfy. You alone are our hope.

You alone are God.

We love You, Lord.

In Jesus’ Name I pray,

Amen
