What joy I find when I remember God's abiding presence.

What joy I find when I remember God’s abiding presence.

Father, I want to run into Your arms leaping and laughing as You lift me up and carry me for awhile. I’m tired, Lord. So tired. But yet You bathe me in Your grace to accomplish what is before me. Thank You. Thank You for Your abiding presence. What joy I find knowing that You are with me always.

I ask that You tame my restless thoughts and the thoughts of others who struggle with the same battle. Help us to bring our thoughts captive to You and to cast down all imaginations — to not even go there! But to remember to think on things that are lovely, pure, and worthy of praise — those things that remind us of You and Your abiding presence, Your faithfulness, and Your mercy.

You are good, Lord. You are Wonderful. Counselor. Almighty God. And the Prince of Peace. May we never, ever forget that, for we are Yours, Lord. Bless Your holy Name. Thank You for loving us so.

In Jesus’ Name I pray,

Please don’t carry your burdens alone. I would be honored to pray for you.
