If you bow low in God’s awesome presence, He will eventually exalt you as you leave the timing in His hands.
Pour out all your worries and stress [of your anxious heart] upon Him and leave them there, for He always tenderly cares for you. ~ 1 Peter 5_6-7, TPT
God’s Truth Always Calms My Anxious Heart
Lord, You are Truth. Your words override anything else going on in my life. Your truth calms my anxious heart, my insecurities, my despair.
When anxiety screams, let me hear Your voice over the waves of fear. Open the eyes of my heart to see You, and only You.
You are the peace in my storm.

You are my strong tower, the God of Angel Armies, mighty in power.
In quietness and confidence I find my rest. But when I get anxious, my mind races with restless thoughts, my heart beats rapidly with unsuredness.
Circumstances loom large and block out the light of Your presence, increasing my fear, giving anxiety authority it doesn’t deserve.
You are the authority in my life — You are my Sovereign Lord. What comfort I find when I consider this truth — when I rest in that sure place. I can only rest there when I am quiet before You and listen with anticipation for Your tender whispers deep in my heart.
Then my confidence rises.
My anxious heart settles.
Your peace takes over and I know I am not alone.
We Can Depend on the Lord. He is Faithful
Bless You, Lord, for the promise of Your Word, and for Your love that stretches from everlasting to everlasting. I am so undeserving, yet You love me anyway. You meet my needs perfectly, in Your timing, in Your way.
You are a good, good Father.
I trust You, Lord.
In Jesus’s Name I pray,
Amen

Sweet blessings to you,
Thank you, Nan! A very needed prayer!
We’ve been going through a storm as a family. As we face one battle and with God’s weapons find victory, another front opens up to the side. My marriage was in shambles, we reached agreements and found harmony (though a lot to work on yet!) and then our children… The youngest, 27 months, with an infection on his toe that refuses to be healed. The oldest, almost 11, who feels overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, and anger against us.
We know God is in control and is working out His good plans in us. I know we’ll eventually reach the still waters but in the meantime, the sword of the Lord is cutting us open in every place. We know when God seems to hurt you it’s because he needs to heal you, and sometimes wounds run very deep. We trust Him. He will do whatever needs to be done to make us whole, and then use us as healers of other wounded people. Thank you again!
