For God to lead, we must not ignore His grace.

For God to lead, we must not ignore His grace.

“We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.” ~ 2 Corinthians 6:1

Lord, You amaze me with Your love and Your longsuffering. I don’t know how You do it, Lord — how You are so patient with us in our sanctification process. I guess that’s what makes You God, and not me. Thank goodness!

You’re teaching me a lot about Your grace and, though the lessons are hard, I’m thankful that I’m learning.

And I’m thankful that very slowly I am changing, evolving into Your likeness.

I’m thankful that You are molding me into a vessel for Your honor and Your glory.

Without the grace of God, none of these things would be possible.

But then there are the days that I receive Your grace in vain — ignoring Your incredible kindness and mercy and grace given abundantly for every moment of every day. Please forgive me, Lord. I’m so sorry.

Your grace really is amazing! May we never take it for granted.

May we always walk in the awareness of this precious gift and resource.

Lead us, precious Savior. Break the chains wrapped around our hearts, the cuffs around our ankles that paralyze us, keeping us from doing Your work and being that mirror reflecting Your love to those around us.

Renew us with fresh fire to do Your work, ever keeping Your lovely face before our eyes.

For each of us are called, Lord — we are called for such a time as this. Some public and some private, but all are called with a purpose and plan; All vital to the building up Your kingdom — for sharing the grace of God with others.

We are Your Body — Your hands and Your feet ministering in Your Name to a hurting world. Sanctify us according to Your Word.

Help us walk with the awareness that Your gift of grace — Your unmerited favor — is ours and is not to be ignored.

You are an awesome God, full of wonder and powerful in might. You are simply amazing.

We love You, Lord.
