For I know my Redeemer lives!
“For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God.” ~ Job 19:25-26
Lord, You are who You say You are. You do what You say You will do. How thankful I am that I can press in and depend upon these truths.
That knowledge calms me and gives me peace.
That knowledge takes my restless thoughts and quenches my fear.
Thank You Lord.
I love how You are teaching me that, not only are You my Savior, but You are my Redeemer God. I’ve known that for awhile, but now I’m beginning to get it in my knower. You truly do redeem all that is lost as we yield ourselves to Your authority — not just our souls … but our thoughts, our hearts, and our wills.
You make a way where there is absolutely no way. You move mountains, You part the sea. You heal broken hearts and relationships. You remove bitterness and make all things new when we recognize You as Lord.
You ARE Lord! You are Lord of my heart, Lord of my life. I rejoice in laying my life and all that pertains to it at Your feet and placing it in Your capable hands.
You have never failed me and I know You never will.
I pray for those who face devastation in their lives — loss of relationships, loss of employment, loss of health. I pray for those who have lost all sense of joy and peace in their lives and want to give up. Lord, I beseech You to arise in them and remind them who You are — their Redeemer God who restores and replaces and makes all things new.
Help them with their unbelief for they do love You, they do believe in Your redemptive power, but are struggling to believe it for themselves. Help them put their trust in You. Strengthen them to wait on You. Open their eyes to see You working on their behalf just as You promised.
Thank You Lord.
You are a good, good Father. Your love stretches to the highest mountains, and covers valleys deep. Your love is amazing.
Bless You, Lord.
In Jesus’ Name I pray,
Amen
