“Surely, he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. He will not be afraid of evil tidings [bad news]; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established; He will not be afraid…” ~ Psalm 112:6-8
“Therefore, take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” ~ Ephesians 6:13
Lord, You are glorious in holiness, beautiful in majesty. Your power astounds me; Your tenderness comforts me. You are simply amazing, Lord.
Life can be so hard at times, especially when I try to travel through in my own strength. In my own strength I have no ability to stand firm. I signed up for the abundant life, but these circumstances aren’t what I expected. Help me align myself, my hopes, my dreams with Your expectations, with Your Truth.
Strengthen my legs that buckle from the weight of my burdens.
Strengthen my arms that I might always lift them in praise to You no matter how tired or how overwhelmed I may feel.
Strengthen my heart that I might stand firm in my faith and my absolute trust in You.

I will not waiver, Lord — You have proven Yourself over and over. I know that You are the One True God. I know that You are for me, not against me. I know that You fight my battles when I yield to Your authority and call on Your Name.
I need only to stand still — stand firm — and see my salvation, my deliverance from overwhelming odds.
You are the Waymaker, the Promise Keeper, the Miracle Worker. You are my God!
I belong to You and You belong to me. I will stand in Your might and I will not be shaken. The victory — Your victory — is mine, O Lord.
Blessed be the Name of the Lord!
In Jesus’s Name I pray,
Amen
