With deepest longing I will seek You.
O God, You are my God; with deepest longing I will seek You;
My soul [my life, my very self] thirsts for You, my flesh longs and sighs for You,
In a dry and weary land where there is no water. ~ Psalm 63:1
O God, You are my God. You are my Refuge, my Strong-Tower. You are the One on whom I depend because You are faithful and trustworthy. My heart feels battered, my spirit worn, but You are my strength — the One on whom I lean for support.
You tell us to come to You when we are weary and heavy-laden. That’s how I feel Lord — heavy-laden, carrying burdens that are not mine to carry.
I hear You calling me Lord. I hear Your gentle whisper speaking my name and I choose to respond. I choose to run into Your arms, lean upon You and accept Your offer to lift my burdens from my shoulders into your capable hands.
Bless Your Holy Name! I give You praise.
Holy Spirit, stir within me and all of those who long for Your touch. Quicken our mortal bodies to do Your bidding. Our spirits are willing, but our flesh is weak. Our hearts are overwhelmed, yet You remain steadfast … our sure place. Lift us high above the enemy’s snare that keeps us bound. Turn our sorrow into dancing for You.

Jesus satisfies my deepest longing.
Our deepest longing is for You, O Lord, for You alone satisfy. You alone are our hope. Our peace. You alone fill the empty places in our hearts.
Your love sustains us.
Your grace preserves us.
You are good …
So good.
We love You, Lord.
In Jesus’ Name I pray,
Amen
