I’m Clinging to God
“For You have been my help,
And in the shadow of Your wings [where I am always protected] I sing for joy.
My soul [my life, my very self] clings to You;
Your right hand upholds me.” ~ Psalm 63:7-8, AMP
“Listen, Jacob, to the One who created you,
Israel, to the one who shaped who you are.
Do not fear,
for I, your Kinsman-Redeemer, will rescue you.
I have called you by name, and you are mine.
When you pass through the deep, stormy sea,
you can count on me to be there with you.
When you pass through raging rivers,
You will not drown.
When you walk through persecution like fiery flames,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not harm you.” ~ Isaiah 43:1-2, TPT
In Difficult Places, I’m Clinging to God
Lord, You are the Solid Rock on which I stand. You are my strong foundation, my hope, my peace. I’m clinging to You, Lord, but the waves are getting higher.
When I take my eyes off You, I start to sink in the quagmire of negativity and comparison and hopelessness. But You are my hope and You promise to not let me drown. You are steadfast in Your love.
I’m clinging to You, Lord. I’m trusting You to carry me safely to the other side.

When the waves are lapping higher and higher as I cross over these difficult places, help me see the image of You carrying me across the turbulent water, as a father carries his son in the wilderness. In Your arms I am secure.
In Your arms I have no fear of the unknown.
Calm the stormy sea, Lord. I’m clinging to You. My fingers are clasped around my Father’s neck as I cross over to the other side of difficulty and find victory.
I will drink deeply from Your well.
It is Well With My Soul
I will enjoy the milk and honey of my future planned by You. And I will say, “It is well with my soul.” Thank You, Lord.
In Jesus’s Name I pray,
Amen
