His abiding presence will quiet us in His love.

His abiding presence will quiet us in His love.

“The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” ~ Zephaniah 3:17

Lord, I’m restless and worn — weary from the journey. But, You O Lord, are faithful. You are with me and in me. You are for me.

I am not alone.

Quiet me with Your love.

Embrace all of those who feel overwhelmed or afraid. Calm our spirits. Remind us who we are. Oh, what a glorious thought!

We are children of the Most High God, deeply loved by the Creator of the Universe. We are forgiven, not forsaken. We are called by Your Name. Bless You Lord.

Your tenderness soothes me.

Your power comforts me with security.

Your faithful watchcare wraps me in a blanket of peace.

Help me focus on these things: Your tenderness, Your power, Your faithful watchcare.

When I remember these things, my mind will be stayed on You and I will find peace. Peace that is perfect. Peace that is born of knowing you, not a circumstantial imitation of peace.

When we draw close to God, He will quiet us with His love.

When we draw close to God, He will quiet us with His love.

Quiet us with Your love.

As a frightened or ailing child runs to its mother for comfort and reassurance, receive us. You are El Shaddai — the All-Sufficient God that nurtures His children.

Open our eyes to see You in our midst, Your arms wide open, Your eyes looking into ours searching and speaking without words the language of Your unfailing love for us.

Help us rest in that knowledge, finding solace there.

Draw us near as we seek You that we might know You more.

You are our everything. We adore You and give You praise for You alone are worthy of praise. I’m so thankful that we belong to You.

In Jesus’ Name I pray,
