I am a child of God.
Lord, I’m so thankful that You are Almighty God, Creator of heaven and earth, and yet You know me by my name. How can that be? How can it be that I can walk with You and talk with You? How can it be that I can share my deepest fears, and dream my boldest dreams … with You? Your love is amazing! Your faithfulness keeps me sane when the world around me has gone crazy. I depend on You, Lord. I rest in the shadow of Your wing because I can! I can because I belong to You — I am Yours and You are mine. Thank You Lord. You are a good, good Father.
I ask that You quiet the hearts of Your children who are being consumed with fear. Cause them to recognize the sweet aroma of Your Presence surrounding them, comforting, guiding, protecting them in all things. Fill them with Your perfect peace. I ask that You stir within them and let them feel the flow of Your living water cascading across the broken places, replacing the hurts and disappointments with Your grace.
Thank You Lord. You are an awesome God, full of wonder and glorious beauty. We praise You Lord and exalt Your holy Name.
