The Awakening of the Dawn from Eternity's Perspective

And the angels of the Lord cry holy … holy … holy is the Lord. Do you suppose the angels sing and rejoice with the awakening of each dawn? They, who are clothed in light and know no personal darkness, do they rejoice in the greatness of the Lord as they view the rising of the sun from eternity’s perspective?

And acknowledge Him?

As does creation?

The Awakening of the Dawn Stirs My Spirit

The morning sky swirls in a kaleidoscope of teal, lavender, and apricot. I hear the call of creation awakening the dawn, heralding God’s presence with us. Are the birds singing, “Glory! Glory! Glory to the risen King!”? Do they understand a holy hush when His Spirit draws near and shouts of praise become an awe-filled whisper?

I’m learning to listen. I’m learning to hear creation’s song.

We must open our ears to hear creation's song of praise.

As the sun rises over the mountain ridge, the heavenly choir beckons me to join in, to acknowledge the Living God — His goodness and mercy, His faithfulness and truth … even when my heart is overwhelmed. The song of creation calls me to welcome Him into my day. The awakening of the dawn stirs my spirit. While I consider eternity’s perspective of this day, a song lifts from the depths of my heart.

The birds don’t worry about what they will eat — they replace worry with worship. The lilies of the field are clothed with splendor because the hand of God has provided all they need. They merely praise Him in the beauty of His holiness, basking in His great love — radiating His glory.

Lord, Open My Ears to Hear Creation’s Song

It is in Him that we live and move and have our being — He is not far from each one of us, but we must open the eyes of our hearts to see and recognize Him. We must open our ears to hear creation’s song of praise, and we must awaken our hearts to worship Him in Spirit and truth,

Offering praise awakens our hearts to know Him.

Offering praise awakens our hearts to remember — remember His faithfulness …

Remember His mercies, new every morning.
