“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I hope in Him!” ~ Lamentations 3:22-24, NKJV
“We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.” ~ 2 Corinthians 4:7-10, NLT
“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” ~ 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, NLT
Truly, Your grace is more than enough
Lord, I’m so thankful that Your mercies are new every morning … Your grace is more than enough to enter the new day. But I must sit at Your feet and taste of Your goodness to replenish the grace needed to journey through this fallen world. Call to me, Jesus, and I will come.

Through Your mercies, I am not consumed, because Your compassion does not fail.
Great is your faithfulness!
I have been pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed. I have been perplexed, but not driven to despair. I have even been struck down into a fetal position, but not destroyed. Never have You abandoned me; never has Your love failed me. And it’s all because of Your grace so freely given.
My endurance is because of You, Lord. You are the treasure within me. The power of Your Spirit makes me strong and resilient.
Therefore, I do not lose heart.
The afflictions of this world are momentary compared to the glory that awaits me in eternity — the glory of seeing You face-to-face; the glory of gathering around Your throne to worship You in endless praise. Hallelujah! I look so forward to that day!

Life is hard, Lord, but You are good. Your grace is truly amazing, and Your love remains; I am sustained and strengthened in the difficulties. From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, I will give You praise. Thank You for Your faithfulness to me and for loving me so beautifully.
Blessed be Your holy Name.
In Jesus’s Name I pray,
Amen ~ let it be so
