Hints of grace light the day, diffusing the darkness

Out of the darkened chamber of night, the new day dawns. Ebony turns to shades of apricot and lavender, washing over the earth, reflecting God’s glory in the rivers, lakes, puddles, and dew drops — hints of grace light up the morning.

In the morning light, hints of grace are present

God’s glory cannot be halted — it will always be revealed, no matter the depth of night’s darkness. His light of morning grows and spreads and permeates the earth with the hope of a new day … no matter the deprivation of the soul.

Because God remains steadfast, His hints of grace and mercy diffuse the darkness.

In the morning light, hints of grace are presenct

He is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. He is Truth revealed. Joy unspeakable.

He is my hope — my only hope.

For as the new day dawns right on schedule without a thought of how or why, without resistance, so His mercies are new every morning — regardless of my attitudes, regardless of my resistance.

Hints of grace reveal His love towards me

His mercy is there. His strength. His goodness. Hints of grace reveal His love towards me. He’s the keeper of my soul.

He is the keeper of your soul too … if you’ll let Him.

Light filters through the apple tree, awakening the cardinal sleeping safely within its branches — her song drifting between earth and heaven, praising her Creator. I sit quietly and listen to her melody of love.

I want my song to drift between earth's pain and heaven's blessings.

I want my song to drift between earth’s pain and heaven’s blessings, too. I want my praise to fill that space and draw Him near to my restless, hurting heart. I want His hints of grace to wash over me, bringing light into my darkness.

I know He’s already near, just as He promised — He’s proven Himself over and over — but my praise opens my eyes to see Him and awakens my heart to remember I am not alone. Praise secures the light in my darkest night and strengthens me to press on.

The Faithfulness of God is remarkable

“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘Therefore I hope in Him!’” ~ Lamentations 3:22-24

No matter the depth of night’s darkness, God is there, His mercies new every morning in lovely hints of grace.

For He is faithful.
