Only a love like this can remain so faithful.
I wander in my foggy thoughts, weary steps follow weary steps. I press on, but the mountain is steep. The trail is brutal at times.
Life has been very difficult for a few years now — I know many that have experienced the same. But in the midst of our struggles, God has remained. His faithfulness has been a bulwark against the work of the enemy. His grace has sustained and His mercy has held us as hurting, frightened children in the arms of our Father.

Love like this is freely given.
What have we done to deserve love like this?
We cannot earn it.
His love is freely given.
Isn’t our God amazing? Through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ we can know Him.
We can experience the miracle of His love — we can know, really know, the Maker of heaven and earth! That is nothing short of miraculous.
All that we need, He is — the Great I Am.

Love like this: He is our faithful stream in the desert.
He is the Living Water in our desert places when our spirit is parched.
He is the Consuming Fire that warms us in the chill of our winter seasons.
He is the Dawning of a new day, a faithful light in our darkest moments.
He is.
And always will be.
Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands. ~ Deuteronomy 7:9, NLT
When we wander in our foggy thoughts with weary steps following one after another, His love never fails. He comes alongside us, whispers in delicate tones that His children recognize, and gives us renewed strength for the journey. There is no other love like this.
Our God … He is good.

Sweet blessings to you,
Thank you for this beautifully written reminder to keep my eyes focused on Him and not what is upon or around me.
I’m so thankful it ministered to you, Marcie girl. It was a good reminder to me too. We too often forget how precious is the Father’s love. Thanks for stopping by.
