Hear our cry, O God.
Father, I need You every hour. My friends need You. My country needs You. We. Need. YOU. Thank You for hearing us when we call out Your Name. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. Thank You for being faithful and true. I depend upon this knowledge of who You are and I am comforted to know that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever — You do not change.
We do.
If God be for us, who can be against us?
There are so many hurting hearts, and minds being assaulted with fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear of violence. Fear of a godless nation where evil and immorality abounds. But, You God — YOU are faithful. And even though ten thousand may fall at our side, YOU will take care of Your children. Hide us all beneath the shadow of Your wing until these calamities have passed us by. Create in us clean hearts, O God, and restore right spirits within us. Open our eyes to see others as You see them. Open our eyes to see inside their hearts. Grant us supernatural understanding of each other and bind us together in unity and love.
I ask that what the enemy has intended for evil in our land, You, O God, will turn for good, and change, and restoration. Take off our blinders that we might see. Fill us all with compassion for those who are hurting. Repair misunderstandings. Guard the hearts of Your children to walk in Your Truth and to not listen to the lies of the enemy, but to seek Your good in all people.
Father, transform us into the image of Christ by the renewing of our minds. Help us be bold in love, yet tender in grace. Thank you Lord. What a mighty God we serve!
