Who am I that You are mindful of me, Lord?
O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your Name in all the earth. You have set Your glory above the heavens!
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your hands , the moon and the stars which You have put in place, who am I that You are mindful of me? And yet You are! You call me daughter, the apple of Your eye. My name is written on the palm of Your nail-scarred hand … I am not alone.
My spirit is troubled by the condition of our nation. A divided house cannot stand. I rebuke the deception, in Jesus’s Name — the unreasonable anger, arrogance, and pride, the need to be right. I ask that You pour out Your grace on Your people. Steady our hearts — steady MY heart and guard us against the work of the enemy.
Give us wisdom. Discernment. Patience and kindness. Help us overflow with self-control as we “biteth our tongues” and speak only for You and in a manner worthy of Your Name. Help us remember that we represent You at all times. Therefore, we must bridle our tongue and walk in obedience to You.
Help me walk in a manner worthy of Your Name, for I am a Christ-Bearer. It is not I that live, but Christ who lives in me.
I Am a Christ-Bearer, I carry Your Name
May others see Jesus in me.
May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing to You, Lord.
I give You glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy of all praise. Great are You, O God.
