Trust Him, and He will help you.

I Believe You Are the Sovereign God
Lord, life has been so crazy lately. Chaotic. Confusing. Heartbreaking. Such is life in a fallen world. But Lord, I am in this world … not of it. Remind me to be still lest I forget.
Remind me to be still and remember that You are God and You hold the whole world in Your hands.
Remind me to be still and consider that I am Your child and You are with me every moment of every day. What a remarkable reassurance this knowledge is!

If I believe You are the Sovereign God — and I do — and if I believe nothing is too hard for You — and I do — then I can rest my head on my pillow and know that I have no need to fear, worry, or become overwhelmed. You are my God who sees me and knows all about it.
Teach me to walk by faith and not by sight. You are for me, so who or what can dare to be against me? You are my shield, and my defender, my sure place in a multitude of uncertainties. I will not fear the unknown and I will not bow down to the enemies of my soul.
Call to me, Lord, and I will come. I want to sit at Your feet and learn from You. I want to soak in the radiance of Your glory and be overcome by Your love.

There is no place I’d rather be than in Your presence. But I must be still and cease striving if I want to enter behind the veil and rest in You. Lead me, Lord. Take my hand, and allow me to come before Your mercy seat and worship You in spirit and in truth.
I Must Be Still and Cease Striving
Jesus made the way for me, but I must be disciplined to daily sit still and spend time with You. Stir a hunger within me, Lord. Arise in my soul and permeate my darkness with Your glorious light. You are too beautiful to behold, too wonderful to understand, yet, that is the desire of my heart. Enlighten the eyes of my heart to know You more.
Bless You, Lord. I exalt Your holy Name.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray,
Amen ~ let it be so
