Lord, what a Mighty God You are! You amaze me with Your protective instincts when it comes to Your children. You guard us as a sentinel, hedging us in from the front and the back. You serve as our rear guard causing goodness and mercy to follow us all the days of our lives.
Thank You for going before us in all things, making a way where there seems to be no way. You are in my tomorrows well before I get there, therefore I need not be afraid. You are my strength, therefore I need not worry about being overcome by weakness and weariness of soul.
Lord, the power of Your Holy Spirit is within me — Your resurrection power that defies all odds and explodes with miraculous provision and intervention — keeps me.
I have nothing to fear.
I need not strive, I only need to be …
Be your child.
Kept by Your power — the power of Your immense love.
You have turned my mourning into dancing.
You have been my strength in my weakness.
You have been my hope in my despair.
Lord, You have shown me how You have kept me by Your power, not because of who I am, but because of who You are.
Awaken my heart to recognize this truth when life gets too hard and I begin to succumb to depression and anxiety. Remind me of Your unfailing love that keeps me safe and sound when circumstances toss me to and fro.
Steady my heart, Lord. Lift high Your banner over me and continue to grant me strength for each new day.
I love You, Lord … so, so much. Thank You for Your faithfulness.
