Thank you, Nan! I love that in that specific scripture, the angel doesn't tell Mary that the Holy Spirit has already come over her and she has no choice. But instead, he says "The Holy Spirit WILL come over you…" Then he waited for her reply:
"I am the Lord's servant. May it be to me as you have said." Oh, if only that would automatically be my response!
