You, Lord, are Just a Breath Away
Father, You are sovereign. You are mighty … You are good. Your faithfulness is a sure place I can cling to and rely upon. When I cry out, You hear me — heaven meets earth and I am helped. Always.
All my life You have been faithful to me. You are just a breath away, a word spoken and You race through the heavens to help me.
Some may think that is a silly notion, but I know through experience and by faith that this is true. The clouds are the dust of Your feet as You walk on the wings of the wind. You are my God and my King — a very present help in trouble. The eyes of my heart recognize You drawing near when heaven meets earth as a result of my tears.
You are my God, earnestly I will seek You. My heart and flesh cry out to You in this dry and thirsty land. Oh, Lord! There is none to compare to You — in Your presence is fullness of joy.
Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me.
And when heaven meets earth, You lift me from the pit of miry clay. You surround me as a shield and carry me close to Your heart. I become as a little child in her Father’s arms and I find rest from the difficult place.
Heaven Meets Earth … What a Wonderful Thought
You are worthy to receive all the glory, all the honor, and all the power forever. Your majesty takes my breath away … Your tenderness reaches deep into my soul and becomes my song in the night.
Oh, how I love You, Lord. When heaven meets earth, I feel Your embrace, I receive Your peace, and I rejoice in Your love.
