“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.
The world and all its people belong to him.
For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas
and built it on the ocean depths.” ~ Psalm 24;1-2, NLT
“Can a mother forget the infant at her breast,
walk away from the baby she bore?
But even if mothers forget,
I’d never forget you—never.
Look, I’ve written your names on the backs of my hands.
The walls you’re rebuilding are never out of my sight.” ~ Isaiah 49:15-16, MSG
I Remind Myself Often, “God, You Hold the World in Your Hands”
Lord, I’m so thankful for Your sovereignty. To know You have full authority over all the earth comforts me. God, You hold the world in Your hands! What a glorious thought.

You must be so grieved by the depravity of mankind who seeks self-gratification at all costs.
Many gods are being raised up before You — there are many idols governing the hearts of mankind creating havoc fear, division, and destruction of all things good.
The world condition is affecting me too — along with all Your children. Help us keep our eyes on You — You are our source, not the world systems … but You.
God, You hold the world in Your hands. Please continue to hold mine. Don’t let me go. You are a shield about me. You are Jehovah-Jireh, my Provider. You are Jehovah-Rapha — my Healer. You are El Roi, my God who sees me and knows all about it.
What a blessed assurance You are to me! When I am weak, You are strong. When I am afraid, You make me brave. When I am desperate with anxiety, You are my Strength. You preserve me. You uphold me with Your righteous right hand.
I Await Your Redemption with Expectation, Lord
You hold my world together, and God, You hold the world in Your hands — all of it. You haven’t gone anywhere. I await Your redemption with expectation and great hope in my heart. You are faithful. You are good. And You are worthy of all praise.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray,
Amen — let it be so
