“For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” ~ Isaiah 41:13, NKJV
“Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him. ‘You of little faith,’ He said, ‘why did you doubt?’” ~ Matthew 14:31, NIV
“Yet I still belong to You;
You hold my right hand.
You guide me with Your counsel,
leading me to a glorious destiny.” ~ Psalm 73:23-24, NLT
You Are Steadfast in All Your Ways, Lord
Lord, I have found that on the mountaintops, You are there. And in the valleys low, You are there — You are steadfast in all Your ways. But still … life is hard, Lord. Please hold my hand.
I love when I call out to You in my distress, You hear me — You incline Your ear, leaning into the sound of my weary-soaked voice. I appreciate how miraculous that is, and how tender You are.

You love as only a Father can love. You seem to know when I am overwhelmed and my strength to endure is waning. You promise us that Your eyes roam across the earth seeking those who love You and who need to be encouraged. You promise to carry us as a father carries his son through the wilderness when we are too weary to go on.
That’s how wonderful You are, Lord. Thank You for allowing me to see and know Your gentle side. Your power is evident all around me — I know that I know nothing is too difficult for You. But then You draw near in my difficult place and I experience Your tenderness and I am amazed.
Life is hard, but You are good — You are the essence of goodness. Your love astounds me. Each time, right when I need it, Your grace washes over me with the sound of abundant rain pouring from heaven’s door and I feel Your touch.

Please hold my hand and lead me on in paths of righteousness. Even though life is hard, I have no need to fear my tomorrows for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies and then in that powerful moment, I remember that I am Your child … You call me daughter.
And I am no longer afraid.
I Love When You Hold My Hand, Lord
I find Your perfect peace when You hold my hand. I am so thankful.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray,
Amen ~ let it be so

Oh, Mary Ann, thank you so much! On the Sunday prayer blogs, I always pray about the topic of conversation with the Lord because He knows the needs of my readers. Quite often I am not currently experiencing the emotion and conflict of faith that I write/pray about. But this week … mercy goodness, what a week! I am a caregiver for my husband who has frontotemporal dementia, and although he continues to beat the odds, the bad days are definitely worse than they used to be. We had several rough days this week. I cherish your beautiful prayer. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Nan
Nan Jones, pls pray for me. God should not leave me. God should help me in every area
The Lord promises to never leave us nor forsake us. He remains. His love is steadfast, but this must be accepted by faith. Either we believe His Word is true … or we don’t. I believe it is true, and I think you believe that as well. When life is hard and the battles are relentless, we become vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks. His lies become believable, His accusations seem to be true. But we must never forget the source of those lies! He is the enemy of our soul and his whole desire is to destroy us and our love for Jesus. Don’t let him do that. Stand strong and hold fast to what you know to be true. Our faith isn’t based on our emotions. Our faith is based on the Word of God and the love that we have personally experienced from Him. Speak the Name of Jesus often and rest in His presence. I’m praying for you.
