“Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;” ~ Philippians 3:8-9, NKJV

Lord, I love You. You are my everything — my Redeemer, my Refuge, my Savior and Lord. Your love is amazing, Your grace more than sufficient for each day’s adventure with You.

Bless You, Lord.

You have taught me to hide myself in You, deep in the crevice of the Rock. You preserve me there. Sustain me. You surround me with Your songs of deliverance and restore my broken places.

I once was lost, but now I’m found — I have been found in You, not in works. Not in religious laws of man.

I have been found in You, and You alone.

My righteousness comes from You, Lord — from my faith in Christ and the washing of His blood.

I pray for others who long for You, who need this assurance also. Awaken our hearts to understand.

Lord, I am found in You. What a miracle. You are my habitation.

To be found in You is to know You — the risen Lord and our Father — the Maker of heaven and earth.

To be found in You is to know the power of the resurrection and to recognize the fellowship of Your sufferings.

For we are not alone in our suffering when we are found in You. You are with us. You are intimately engaged in our suffering. And You really do surround us with songs of deliverance, filling our hearts with praise in the darkest of night.

You do these things when we are found in You.

When we seek You with all of our heart and mind and soul and strength.

When we praise You for who You are as our circumstances seek to consume us.

You are our hiding place, a perfect place to be found because in You there is abundance of peace that passes all understanding. There is unspeakable joy. There is safety from the enemy’s tactics to destroy us.

We want to know You, Lord.

We want to be a lover of God, not a user of God. We want to enjoy You and the miracle of our relationship with You — to never take it for granted.

We want to be found in You, Lord, for nothing else satisfies a longing soul.

You are the Mighty God. You are Wonderful. Our Counselor and the Prince of Peace. You are Abba Father — our Daddy God. We love You so much.

In Jesus’ Name I pray,

Amen

Many have asked for an update on my daughter, Nancy. Thank you so much for your prayers. Her surgeon does not feel that another knee surgery at this time is necessary and will re-access on January 3rd. He believes the nerve that had to be decompressed during her last surgery has been bruised. This could be causing the extreme pain and drop-foot. He has given her a special brace for her foot and ankle to keep her foot at a 90 degree angle. This will help her walk down the aisle on December 22nd. We’re getting excited! Please continue to pray that no weapon formed against her will prosper. She has been in a knee brace for two years now. But I know that the Lord is Jehovah-rapha, our Healer and He will be faithful to bring her to a full recovery.
