God's love amazes me. He is my shelter, my refuge, and my anchor in the storm.

Lord, how wonderful you are!
You have stored up so many good things for us,
like a treasure chest heaped up and spilling over with blessings—
all for those who honor and worship you!
Everybody knows what you can do
for those who turn and hide themselves in you.
So hide all your beloved ones
in the sheltered, secret place before your face.
Overshadow them by your glory-presence. ~Psalm 31:19-20, TPT

Lord, Your love amazes me, Your goodness bathes me in Your grace and mercy. You are my shelter, my refuge, my anchor in the storm.

I trust You because You are who You say You are.

Lord, You Say You Are My Shelter

Many are the afflictions of Your children. Wars and rumors of war are all about us. Earthquakes, famines, and fires cause the earth to tremble; its people quake in fear.

But we are Your people.

We are in this world, but not of it. We are only passing through.

And in the passing through we are not alone because You are with us. You are for us.

He is our shelter. Run to Him and be saved.
He is our shelter. Run to Him and be saved.

Even so, the trials of Your people are plentiful. Remind us who we are, Lord. Remind us that in Your presence we find shelter to withstand the assaults of the enemy.

Open our eyes to see You in our midst, to recognize Your glory, to find courage in Your might.

You are the light in our darkness — I need not be afraid for Your presence comforts me.

You surround me as I abide in Your love and I cease my striving.

Lord, I need you to hide me beneath Your wing until these calamities pass me by.

Shelter Me, Lord. Hide Me In Your Presence

And because that is my need, and because You promise You are my hiding place, I know it is so. I will run to You, Lord, in my time of need. When I am overwhelmed, I will seek peace in Your presence.

When I am afraid, I will press into You so close I will listen for Your heartbeat, and sense Your breath breathing new life, and strength, and endurance into my weary soul.

Thank You for being my shelter. What joy that brings me!

I love You, Lord. What would I do without You?

Blessed be Your Name.
