Walk in the light, living in such a way that our lives will be a fragrant offering, pleasing to the Lord.
“For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true.
“Carefully determine what pleases the Lord.” ~ Ephesians 5:8-10, NLT
Lord, You are mighty and You are good. You set the stars in place and yet You cradle me when I’m hurt. You are my Blessed Savior who lights my darkness and draws me to Yourself. Thank You.
You call us to walk in the light as You are in the light. What does that mean, Lord? I mean, really mean?
Show me, Lord.
Create in me a new heart so that no darkness dwells in me. Overflow the broken and damaged places of my heart with your love and grace, washing the hurt away, making all things new so, like a mirror, I will reflect You in all things — I will walk in light where no darkness overcomes me.

Lord, teach us to walk in the light.
I know I’m not alone in desiring to represent You well. Make us ever-mindful that we are the light of Christ — it’s a responsibility as Your ambassador, but also a gift and privilege.
Teach us to walk in goodness, righteousness, and truth — to be aware of such things.
We want to be a conduit of Your love shining bright like the strobing light of a lighthouse bringing weary sailors home.
Yes, Lord … a light!
A light in the darkness bringing people into Your safe and secure embrace.
A light that overcomes the darkness this world is experiencing at a remarkable rate.
A light that causes the darkness to flee and brings hope to the hopeless, peace to the anxious, and courage to those afraid.
We want to walk in the light as You are in the light. We want to walk with You, to be used by You. Set our hearts on fire, Lord. Cause them to burn with passion for Your people, Your church … Your world. Kindle the flame afresh.
Thank You for exposing the darkness in my own heart and in the hearts of those who are seeking You. In the exposure we can experience repentance, forgiveness, mercy, and grace. Thank You for the sweet fellowship we have with You — there’s nothing Like it.
Absolutely nothing.
We love You, Lord and are so thankful for You.
In Jesus’ Name I pray,
Amen
