Whom have I in heaven but You, O Lord?

“Then I realized that my heart was bitter,
    and I was all torn up inside.
I was so foolish and ignorant—
    I must have seemed like a senseless animal to You.
Yet I still belong to You;
    You hold my right hand.
You guide me with Your counsel,
    leading me to a glorious destiny.
Whom have I in heaven but You?
    I desire You more than anything on earth.
My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak,
    but God remains the strength of my heart;
    He is mine forever.” ~ Psalm 73:21-26, NLT

“Let me hear of Your unfailing love each morning,
    for I am trusting You.
Show me where to walk,
    for I give myself to You.” ~ Psalm 143:3, NLT

“For the mountains may move
    and the hills disappear,
but even then My faithful love for you will remain.
    My covenant of blessing will never be broken,”
    says the Lord, who has mercy on you.” ~ Isaiah 54:10, NLT

There Is None Like You, Lord

Father, I adore You. You are the All-Sufficient God who meets my insufficiencies and supplies all my needs. Your grace is sufficient, Your love is steadfast — unfailing. Whom have I in heaven, but You?

There is none like You, Lord. You hung the stars in place. You spoke into the darkness and there was light. You created the earth as You hovered over the chaos. Even when I throw a tantrum like a frustrated child, You don’t condemn me. Yes, You bring correction if it’s needed, but You search out the wound that caused the debris in my heart. And then You hold me fast until my tears cease and peace returns.

Thank You. Your covenant of blessing will never be broken. I am sealed in the Holy Spirit, kept by Your unfailing love.

Whom have I in heaven, but You, O Lord? No matter what comes my way, You are there. You remain steadfast, merciful, and kind. Keep me on the straight and narrow way walking with discernment and the truth found in Your Word. May Your Word always be the standard I live my life by.

Whom Have I In Heaven? It is You, my God and my King

You are Almighty God! Holy. Majestic. The Supreme Lord. I stand in awe of You. Thank You for making a way for me to know You through Jesus. I am humbled by Your great love. Whom have I in heaven, but You? You are the Living God, sovereign over all the earth … and You know my name.

Bless You, Lord. I give You praise, for You alone deserve all praise.

In Jesus’s Name, I pray,

Amen ~ let it be so
