“For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.
What do people really get for all their hard work? I have seen the burden God has placed on us all. Yet God has made everything beautiful in its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can.” ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1-12, NLT
“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” ~ 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, NLT
“For My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.
“And My ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so My ways are higher than your ways
and My thoughts higher than your thoughts.” ~ Isaiah 55:8-9, NLT
You Do All Things Well, God, and Help Me Understand
Lord, life in a fallen world can be hard, and yet You remain through it all, never leaving the side of Your child. Things can be difficult — bewildering — but I have learned that farther along I’ll understand why. As I rest in Your sovereignty, one day I’ll know all about it and give praise for Your goodness.

You do all things well, Lord. You hung the stars in place, You tell the ocean how far it can come. You hold the seas in the hollow of Your hands, and You search my heart and know all of my anxious thoughts. When I am crushed in spirit, You draw near to comfort me. You incline Your ear, bending near to hear me when I cry out to You.
Why would I ever question Your goodness? How could I ever doubt Your love?
Life may be confusing, but farther along, I’ll understand why because You will allow me to see things from Your eternal perspective. I’ll be able to see how You fit all of the pieces together for my good and for Your glory. Those things the enemy meant to harm me, You will turn for my good — farther along, I’ll be able to see Your hand.

I’m sorry when I grow impatient and frustrated when life is hard. This happens when I take my eyes off of You … I know better. When I focus on my circumstances, I am easily overwhelmed. But when I look into Your lovely face, the things of this earth grow dim and lose their power over me. I remember You are God … and I remember that You love me with an everlasting love.
Farther Along, I’ll Know All About it
All of Your ways are good. All of Your ways are righteous and just … even if I can’t understand. Your faithfulness is not contingent on my questions and/or attitude. You are faithful … always. And You are good. I can trust You with my life, with my heart, and with those I love. You will never fail me.
So I’ll hold onto these truths because farther along I’ll know all about it; farther along I’ll understand why.
Bless You, Lord. I give You praise for You alone are worthy of all praise.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray,
Amen ~ let it be so

Sweet blessings to you,

Hi Nan I’m Wendy and I have my marriage on my heart it’s been 15 months my husband and I have been seperated after 15 years together and 12 years married. My husband just said we should seperate no real reason except that we were fighting alot. Alot of stress and financial problems because of a mistake I made getting him to move to new York. Now we are back in florida and we fell apart. I believe my marriage is not over and I believe and trust in God for renewed and transformed marriage to be under God and for my husband to be saved. Please can you pray for us and ourmarriage.
Thank you very much,
Wendy
Wendy, my heart breaks for you. Whenever I feel lost or confused, not knowing what to do, I’m reminded of Micah 6:8, “He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God.” The Amplified Bible takes it a bit deeper:
“He has told you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
Except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion),
And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness].”
Isn’t that good and straight to the point? As you pray and as I pray for you, I encourage you to align yourself with this instruction: do what is right, love mercy, and walk humbly with the Lord yielding to His authority. As you seek Him, He will clarify this instruction for you with regard for your marriage and your husband’s salvation, BOTH of which would be according to His will. Remember that He makes all things beautiful in HIS time. His timing is often different from ours because we watch the clock and follow the calendar. The Lord sees things from eternity which is like a snap of the finger to Him. Rest in the knowledge that He hears us when we pray and responds. Often when we think He isn’t doing anything, that’s when He is doing the most. He has to work in the hearts of His people. So while you wait, praise Him, seek Him, do what is right by living justly, practice kindness and compassion toward your husband … and patience, and then hold fast to the hand of the Lord as He leads you through this fire safely to the other side.
Thank you for reaching out to me. I will share your request with my Bible study ladies (anonymously) so they can pray with you and me. They are prayer warriors! “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” ~ 1 Corinthians 2:9
Sweet blessings to you,
Nan
