Will You Carry Me, Lord?
Lord, how precious You are. Thank You for loving me so beautifully. In the wilderness places, You carry me close to Your heart; in the difficult places, You comfort me and whisper Your perfect peace over my restless heart.
You quiet me with Your love.
What manner of love is this? The depths cannot be understood, and yet, I know it well — I live within Your love. For it is in You that I live, move, and have my being.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the shadow of the Almighty … near to Your heart. Safe from all harm. I will say of You, Lord, “He is my refuge, my God in whom I trust.” Your steadfast love wraps me in a reassurance this world cannot offer.
I acknowledge how great You are — there is no one else like You. You hung the stars in place. You tell the ocean how far it can come! All of creation praises Your Name and yet … yet, You hold me. You carry me close to Your heart when I’m struggling.
I Need You, Jesus
I will be still and remember that You are God … my God, my Beloved. My heart belongs to You. I love You, Lord … I need You.
