“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” ~ 2 Chronicles 7:14, NKJV
“The people who sat in darkness
have seen a great light.
And for those who lived in the land where death casts its shadow,
a light has shined. From then on Jesus began to preach, ‘Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.’” ~ Matthew 4:16-17, NLT
“O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and look at our desolations and the city which is called by Your name; for we are not presenting our supplications before You because of our own merits and righteousness, but because of Your great mercy and compassion. O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and take action! Do not delay, for Your own sake, O my God, because Your city and Your people are called by Your name.” ~ Daniel 9:18-19, AMP
“For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland … Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland
so my chosen people can be refreshed.” ~ Isaiah 43:19-20, NLT
Only You Can Heal Our Land, Lord
Father, You are strong and mighty in battle. You are a righteous, just, and holy God who reigns over all the earth. Rise up, O God, and scatter Your enemies. We cry out to You, “Heal our land!” Let Your truth overcome the lies of the enemy — expose their evil. Protect Your people.
You promise if we who are called by Your Name will humble ourselves and pray, and seek Your face, and turn from our wicked ways, You will hear us from heaven and will forgive our sin and heal our land. Hear us, Lord. We are desperate for Your intervention. Forgive us where we have failed You. Heal and restore this great land of ours.
Without You, we are nothing. Without You, we have become a selfish, corrupt republic, hungry for power and greed.
But there is a remnant, Lord. There is a remnant that places our hope in You — the Living God. In Your mercy, restore us. We lack justice, and law and order. We lack integrity, decency, and honesty — righteousness is being buried.
And yet, You remain our Shepherd, faithful and true.
It’s hard to see Your hand at work right now, but by faith, I know that I know You are working for our good and Your glory. Your favor is removed from our land, but Your faithfulness to Your people remains. Lead us in the paths of righteousness for Your Name’s sake. Make us brave to confront this evil in Your Name and through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Not by Our Might, but By Your Spirit, O God
Oh Lord, heal our land and reign victorious. Give us eyes to see and hearts to trust Your plan. Grant us discernment to know truth, and wisdom to confront evil. Not by our power, nor by our might, but by Your Spirit … Your Spirit within us is our strength and the light that guides us through the darkness.
Blessed be Your Holy Name, O Lord. You alone are worthy to be praised.
In Jesus’s Name, I pray,
Amen ~ let it be so
