“Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all His glory.” ~ Colossians 3:1-4, NLT
“You are my hiding place;
You shall preserve me from trouble;
You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah” ~ Psalm 32:7, NKJV
“Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men!
You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence
From the plots of man;” ~ Psalm 31:19-20, NKJV
“Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me!
For my soul trusts in You;
And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge,
Until these calamities have passed by.” ~ Psalm 57:1, NKJV
You Have Hidden Me in You, Jesus
Lord, You are my shelter, my refuge, my strong tower above the enemy. You have hidden me in You, Jesus, for it is no longer I that live, but Christ that lives in me. When Father God looks on me, He sees You, Your righteousness … He sees me as His daughter who wears His robe of righteousness.
Because of You, Jesus.
Help me understand this. Help me understand Your covenant that makes You my God and makes me Your child. Forever. Help me understand how I am seated with You, Jesus, in the heavenly places. Your mysteries are great. Your mysteries are beyond wonderful. Make known to me Your truth that I might be strengthened in my faith and understand better who I am in You.

I am redeemed. I am set apart for Your service. I have authority over the evil one, and I am in this world, but not of it. And yet … yet I struggle, Lord. When life is hard and comes at me with both barrels blazing, I want to cower and make it go away. I often face the enemy with a defeatist attitude instead of with the authority You have given me. Forgive me, Lord.
Help me remember that the enemy has to face You first, he has to come through You to get to me because I am hidden in You, Jesus. I am safe in Your secret place beneath the shadow of Your wings.
Hallelujah!
Hide Me in Your Secret Place, O God
I am found in You. Open the eyes of my heart to understand and see the spiritual realm, the realization of this phenomenal miracle. I have no need to fear because You are my help. You sustain me. You are my strength and shield about me, surrounding me with songs of deliverance.
Oh, how great is Your goodness You have laid up for those who trust You. I trust You, Lord. Hide me in the secret place of Your presence all the days of my life. Forever and ever, I am Yours.
In Jesus’s Name I pray,
Amen ~ let it be so

Thank you so much for stopping by. I would love for you to share what’s on your heart in the comments below. Scroll a little farther down and you’ll see where you can leave your comments. Together, we can find the nearness of God in our darkest moments.
Sweet blessings to you,

Postings are awesome. God is so real, faithful, and his words are true. I am feeling overwhelmed with anxiety and I don’t know what is happening. I know God can deliver me from this. I welcome your prayers to be free of anxiety right now in the name of Jesus.
Mrs. Henderson, thank you for reaching out to me. I, too, struggle with anxiety — it’s a beast! I love Psalm 139:23 that lets me know that He searches our hearts and knows our anxious thoughts. He doesn’t condemn us for them. But He draws near in the anxiety and offers peace. How? He has given us instructions in His Word in how to be kept in His peace. Isaiah 26:3 tells us to keep our minds stayed on Him, and we will have perfect peace. Philippians 4:8-9 is a go-to for me: “8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.” I’ve condensed it to “anything worthy of praise, think on THESE THINGS, and the peace of God will be with me.” When I’m in the moment and anxiety is crashing in, I tell myself, “Nan, find something worthy of praise and thank the Lord for it.” Sometimes, if I can’t find anything in the immediate circumstances to praise Him for, I begin to praise Him for who He is — Lord, You are the Rock on which I stand, all other ground is sinking sand. You are my refuge and my strength. You are my light in the darkness. You are my peace. Thank You, Lord for my being my peace … “ This helps me every time because it shifts my focus to the One who loves me and who is able to care for me beautifully.
Let’s pray together, ok?
Father, You formed us in our mother’s womb. You know our coming-ins and our going-outs. You know our names and the tender places of our hearts. You know ALL things and You love us still. Thank You for Your tender watch care. Your eyes roam across the earth seeking those who love You who need to be encouraged. Mrs. Henderson needs to be encouraged. I ask that You give her tangible evidence of Your presence with her. I ask that You meet her in her overwhelm and quiet her with Your love. Bring her thoughts captive to You and replace them with thoughts of hope and contentment. I take authority over the spirit of anxiety in the Name of Jesus. Satan, I plead the Blood of Jesus over my sister and I remind You that where the blood of Jesus is applied you have no authority or dominion. I bind you spirit of anxiety according to the Word of God and cast you as far away from Mrs. Henderson as the east is from the west. I rebuke you in the Name of Jesus … be gone. Holy Spirit, fill the void left with Your power and love. Cause peace to wash over my sister, knowing in her knower that You are with her and You are for her, so who can dare to be against her. She is Your beloved. Hold her fast in the days ahead, keeping her eyes on You. You have brought us all safe thus far, and I know You won’t stop now. You are faithful. We love You, Lord and we give You praise. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, amen
Mrs. Henderson, thank you again for reaching out to me. I will continue to pray for you as the Lord gives me remembrance. Sweet blessings to you, Nan
