“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by Him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” ~ Romans 8:15-16, NIV
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.” ~ 1 John 3:1, NIV
“I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.” ~ 2 Corinthians 6:18, NKJV
What Great Love the Father Has Lavished on Us
Lord, how amazing to know I am Your child — You call me daughter. You search my heart and know all my anxious thoughts. You know ME and You love me still.
Bless You, Lord. I rejoice in the knowledge of Your love.
You are my shield, my defender, the glory, and the lifter up of my head. You surround me with songs of deliverance and rescue me from my enemies. Their names are fear, anxiety, and overwhelm — but Lord, I am Your child and You love me with an everlasting love, and You set me free from their taunts and tentacles. Glory to Your Name!

In the day I cried out, You answered me. You steadied my heart and gave me the strength to overcome. You came to my rescue because I am Your child. I want to embrace this truth, Lord, but it’s beyond my ability to fully understand how the Creator of the Universe calls me daughter. It is too wonderful for me!
You wrap me in Your love and all is well with my soul.
I give You praise for You alone deserve all praise. Your perfect love casts out all my fear — it has lost its grip on me. Now, I see and know that greater are You within me, than he that is in the world. I know it in my knower and I am strengthened for the next battle that will surely come.
I Am Your Child, Lord. Thank You
I don’t like these battles, Lord. They are fierce and they are hard. Thank You for drawing near in my time of need. Thank You for calling me daughter — I am Your child.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray,
Amen ~ let it be so

Thank you, Edwina. I appreciate it so much 🙂
Will you pray for me. I have terrible shame and fear and I know that is a sin. Pray for me to surrender it all, lave the past behind and press forward toward the Kingdom. Pray for love, joy and peace for me.
I’m sorry you are struggling. Remember that the Lord doesn’t shame us — He doesn’t condemn us, but He does convict us. In His goodness, He makes us aware of anything in our hearts and minds that are not of Him. Why? Because He desires deep fellowship with His children. He is a holy God who cannot dwell where sin is present. BUT He wants to be near you. I believe He is pursuing you with His love by making you aware of your shortcomings.
NONE of us are perfect. If we were, we wouldn’t need a Savior. I believe the Lord is pleased that you are responding to His promptings — that shows a desire to please and honor Him. The enemy of our soul is the one that is condemning you so that you will resist approaching the throne of God. Satan does not want you to run to your Father, but the Lord is waiting with arms open wide to receive you, His precious child. You are loved with an everlasting love that NONE of us deserve. And yet the Lord gives it abundantly. Run to Him. Run to your Father. He sees you and knows all about it. He sees your tears. They are precious to Him.
Let’s pray together, ok?
Father, I lift this precious one to You. I ask that You give them tangible evidence of Your presence and Your love. Wrap them in the light of Your glory. Dry their tears, and hear them from heaven. Take what the enemy has stolen and return it to them 100-fold. Open their eyes to see You in new and deeper ways, to know Your love like never before. Restore to them the joy of their salvation and lead them forth in the ways they should go. You are a good Father.
You discipline us, but You do not punish us. There is a difference. Help my friend see and know the difference. Draw them ever closer to You and wash them in Your forgiving grace as You restore them to Yourself. Thank You for loving us so beautifully. I believe You have searched their heart and You have seen their anxious thoughts. I believe You have searched their minds and cleansed them of anything not of You.
Rise up within my friend, and scatter their enemies. Strengthen them in the power of Your might. Thank You for pursuing them with Your love, calling their name to repentance so that Your relationship with them can be restored. Thank You, Lord. We love You, and we give You praise. In Jesus’s Name I pray, amen
Thank you for reaching out to me. I will continue to pray for you as the Lord gives me remembrance. Sweet blessings to you, Nan
