I am Your child, Lord. Fear has lost its grip on me.

“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by Him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” ~ Romans 8:15-16, NIV

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.” ~ 1 John 3:1, NIV

“I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.” ~ 2 Corinthians 6:18, NKJV

What Great Love the Father Has Lavished on Us

Lord, how amazing to know I am Your child — You call me daughter. You search my heart and know all my anxious thoughts. You know ME and You love me still.

Bless You, Lord. I rejoice in the knowledge of Your love.

You are my shield, my defender, the glory, and the lifter up of my head. You surround me with songs of deliverance and rescue me from my enemies. Their names are fear, anxiety, and overwhelm — but Lord, I am Your child and You love me with an everlasting love, and You set me free from their taunts and tentacles. Glory to Your Name!

I am Your child, Lord

In the day I cried out, You answered me. You steadied my heart and gave me the strength to overcome. You came to my rescue because I am Your child. I want to embrace this truth, Lord, but it’s beyond my ability to fully understand how the Creator of the Universe calls me daughter. It is too wonderful for me!

You wrap me in Your love and all is well with my soul.

I give You praise for You alone deserve all praise. Your perfect love casts out all my fear — it has lost its grip on me. Now, I see and know that greater are You within me, than he that is in the world. I know it in my knower and I am strengthened for the next battle that will surely come.

I Am Your Child, Lord. Thank You

I don’t like these battles, Lord. They are fierce and they are hard. Thank You for drawing near in my time of need. Thank You for calling me daughter — I am Your child.

In the Name of Jesus, I pray,

Amen ~ let it be so
