When I consider you in all your ways, I find peace
Father, You are the Holy One, the One True God. You are my Beloved and I am Yours — You call me daughter. I’m so thankful I have a grip on hope, knowing that You have a sovereign plan for all things. And yet, some days it’s just plain hard to hang on. Help me keep my eyes on You. When my eyes are on You, the things of earth grow smaller and no longer threaten me. When I consider You and all Your ways, I find peace and I’m able to keep a grip on hope.
What reassurance this gives me!
I am not alone — the Lion of Judah walks beside me. You guard me in all my ways — You are the Keeper of my soul. No matter what the days ahead hold, I have no need to fear. You promise to never leave me, nor forsake me. I am safe in Your arms, held by Your steadfast love.
For the thoughts You have toward me are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give me a future and a hope. Therefore, I’m trusting You to work everything out for my good and for Your glory. I’m trusting You to make the crooked places straight, to permeate the darkness with Your glorious light. Nothing is too hard for You.
I have a grip on hope … I have a grip on You, Lord
No matter what lies ahead in this world and in our nation, my life, and in my family, my hope is in You, for I trust in Your sovereignty over all the earth. Take my hand and help me keep a grip on hope as I/we walk through these tumultuous days. I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff comfort me.
My eyes are on You, Lord.

Precious Lord, sometimes in this life our vision becomes blurred by the obstacles hindering our path. Strengthen us & renew our hope that we might continue to walk on the path you have chosen for us.
