O God, hear my prayer. Listen to my heart’s cry.
For no matter where I am, even when I’m far from home,
I will cry out to you for a father’s help.
When I’m feeble and overwhelmed by life,
guide me into your glory, where I am safe and sheltered.
Lord, you are a paradise of protection to me.
You lift me high above the fray.
None of my foes can touch me
when I’m held firmly in your wrap-around presence!
Keep me in this glory.
Let me live continually under your splendor-shadow,
hiding my life in you forever. ~ Psalm 61:1-4, TPT
Lord, You are my hope, my strength, my joy. In You I find rest. In You I find a sure place — a steady, consistent place of refuge I can depend upon, especially when the storms of life rage.
How is God A Sure Place?
Thank You for Your abiding presence that soothes my fears, that conquers my insecurities. You are amazing.
When I open the eyes of my heart, I see You and I feel brave because I see You leading me into my tomorrows.

You go before me. You are behind me. Beside me. All around me.
I am not alone.
You are a sure place when my insecurities scream I’m not good enough, I don’t have enough. In my sure place I hear You whisper, Nan, I AM enough.
The touch of Your hand against mine infuses me with courage and confidence born of You. The brush of Your garment in the gentle breeze of Your passing makes me smile.
And gulp!
I gulp because I am amazed by Your love and Your faithfulness to me.
God is a Sure Place When My Insecurities Scream
Take my hand, Lord. Take my whole life too, and use it for Your glory. In You there is no room for fear. In You there is no room for doubt.
You are a sure place for me.
On You I can depend.
In Jesus’s Name I pray,
Amen
