So now, beloved ones, stand firm [steadfast] and secure. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures. ~ 1 Corinthians 15:58, TPT
Lord, You are Wonderful, Counselor, Almighty God, my Prince of Peace. The magnitude of the gifts of Your grace and salvation overwhelm me at times as I follow You on this path of righteousness. Help me be steadfast and secure in my walk of faith.
Steadfast and Secure — Relentless, Immovable, Abounding
I believe my spirit is strong and secure in Your love. Unwavering, even. But sometimes my walk is not steadfast and secure — it grows wobbly as the fierce winds blow and the lies of the enemy howl in my ears.
When I don’t lift high my shield of faith and when I don’t speak Your truth into my situation, I become vulnerable in Satan’s manipulative hands.
Your Word shows me how to be steadfast and secure in all things — relentless, immovable, abounding.
O wretched woman that I am!
Why do I do the things I don’t want to do and don’t do the things I desire to do?
Help me, Lord.
Teach me. Guide me.
And whisper Your assurance as I wait for You to straighten this difficult, crooked path.
In Your Presence, You Replenish My Weary Spirit
I will turn my eyes on You, focus until I see Your beautiful face. I will wait there with You — resting in those moments of love until You replenish my weary spirit and strengthen my resolve to be steadfast and secure in this walk of faith.
My heart burns with this desire, Lord. Let it be so.
In Jesus’ Name I pray,
Amen
