Fill us with courage to walk in all Your ways. Fill us with discernment, wisdom, knowledge and understanding of Your truth.
“However, when He, the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth, for He will not speak on His own authority but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will tell you all things to come.” ~ John 16:13
Lord, You are the great God,mighty and true. All of Your ways are perfect. All of Your ways are righteous and just. You are the God of Truth.
There is so much deception permeating our world. It clutters our minds and veils our knowledge of You and Your ways. May it never be, Lord!
Stir within us the gift of discernment that we might walk sure in Your ways. Keep our feet on the path of truth — our eyes on You, our ears open to Your voice of instruction.
It’s so easy to get sucked in — to choose the way of ease … to avoid controversy. It’s easy to cower in the face of the enemy and his lies, and not pay attention to Your check in our spirit warning us of the lie before us and the deception that follows.
Oh … deception is evil, and Your Word tells us that our hearts are the most deceptive of all. Guard our hearts, Lord, that we might stand firm in Your truth.
Keep our feet on the path of truth, Lord.
Forgive us, Lord. Fill us with courage to walk in all Your ways. Fill us with discernment, wisdom, knowledge and understanding of Your truth.
Fill us to overflowing with Your sweet Holy Spirit that we might know You more.
We love You so much, Lord. You are our everything and Your truth sets us free.
