Lord, You are the Lord God Almighty, the Omnipotent One, the Maker of Heaven and Earth. And You are holy. Purify my heart so that I, too, might become holy.
You have redeemed me and called me Your own. You have made me Your righteousness through Jesus Christ, and for that, I am so thankful. Yet, I know I still harbor things in my heart that are not of You.
Purify My Heart and Let Me Be as Fine Gold Before You
Cleanse me, Lord. Purify my heart and let me be as fine gold. My heart’s one desire is to be holy as You are holy so that I might abide in Your presence. There is beauty in Your holiness. There is majesty and power. There is intimacy unknown to those who are in the world.
Take my life, Lord, and make me more like You. Set me apart from the world. You are teaching me to die to myself more and more. It’s hard, Lord. But there is a magnificent purpose in the process because the glory of Your pleasure rests on my heart when I choose You over myself.
Amazing.
I want more of You, Lord — to know You in Your fullness.
Be Glorified in My Life, Lord
Purify my heart, consecrate me to Yourself, for I am Your daughter called according to Your purposes. Be glorified in my life and may I be a blessing to You.
