Rise Up, O God, And Scatter Your Enemies
Father, even though the earth be removed, and the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling — EVEN SO I will trust You. You are my refuge, my Abba Father.
Rise up, O God, and scatter Your enemies. This world has gone crazy, but You remain. You never change. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. There is no shadow of turning with You — You are who You say You are forever and ever. Your steadfast love consumes me.
Therefore, I will not fear uncertain days. I will be still and remember You are God.
And, Abba Father, in those moments that I falter, call my name, and I will run back into Your waiting arms and find peace. You are my sure place, my shelter in the storm. You are a very present help in trouble — abundantly present, intensely present.
Abba Father, You are With Me
You are with me in the difficult places carrying me through to victory.
Therefore I will not fear. You are in my midst … I will walk in peace singing praise to Your holy Name.
