“How great is the goodness You have stored up for those who fear You. You lavish it on those who come to You for protection, blessing them before the watching world. You hide them in the shelter of Your Presence…” ~ Psalm 31:19,20, NLTV

The shelter of His Presence…
The secret place of the Most High God…

That’s where He hides us when the world seeks to consume us. That’s where He hides us when we need His comfort, His healing touch, the reassurance of His great love.

I believe the shelter of His presence was where I first beheld His love on the cross. For you see, He sought me out, drawing me to Himself. His Presence was there all along, but, on that wondrous day of my salvation, He opened my eyes to see Him.

And He did that for you, as well.

His gentle whisper called to us out of our broken places, beckoning us to come to Him. He lavished His goodness upon us.

Come away with me my precious one and run beneath the shadow of His wing – the secret place – near to His heart. That’s where the greatest love story of all began.

We love You, Lord and we give You praise, for You Lord are worthy of our praise. You are the Most High God, Ruler of all the nations, Maker of heaven and earth. And yet You know us by name. You love us in spite of ourselves. You are faithful and true, merciful and good. You are everything to us, Lord. Yes, everything.
