He is a God of Peace
Father, I hold fast to the knowledge that You are not a god of confusion, but a God of peace. You are my sure place in an ever-changing world … my hiding place. When life is chaotic, You are my peace.
How can I thank You, Lord? Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. You hover above the chaos and bring order. You permeate the darkness with Your glorious light and You wrap me in Your love when I feel overwhelmed.
To You I will cry, O my Redeemer. When life is chaotic, I will find my peace in You. You welcome me with open arms and give me strength to endure. You are my refuge.
Please forgive me when I focus on the difficult places instead of on You. When my mind is stayed on You, I am kept in peace. When I wait on You with a thankful heart, I mount up on the wings of eagles to rise above the problems of this life and soar in the heavenly places with You.
Your gift of peace is not contingent on my attitudes or behavior, it is all because of Your goodness. Your peace remains … but I must take hold of it.
God Will Hold Me Fast When Life is Chaotic
Father, You are so very good, so merciful and kind. Thank You for responding to my cry.
When life is chaotic, You, Lord, are my perfect peace. I cherish You. I adore You. I worship You in the beauty of Your holiness.
