You are my refuge and strength. I trust You, O God

“God is our refuge and strength,
    always ready to help in times of trouble.
So we will not fear when earthquakes come
    and the mountains crumble into the sea.
Let the oceans roar and foam.
    Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! ” ~ Psalm 46:1-3, NLT

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
    will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
    He is my God, and I trust Him.” ~ Psalm 91:1-2, NLT

“You are my hiding place;
You shall preserve me from trouble;
You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah” ~ Psalm 32:7, NKJV

“Keep and protect me, O God, for in You I have placed my trust and found refuge.” ~ Psalm 16:1, AMP

God is Greater than Anything I Will Ever Face

Father, I am learning that You are truly my refuge and strength … my place of safety. Forever and always. In Your magnificence, You are greater than anything I will ever face.

Your Name is a strong tower — the righteous run into it and are safe. You are Jehovah-Jireh, my Provider; Jehovah-Rapha, my Healer. You are Jehovah-Shammah, the Lord who is there, and You are Jehovah-Shalom, the Lord my Peace. You are my All-Sufficient God — El Shaddai. Your sufficiency meets my insufficiency, and I am helped.

Bless You, O Lord!

God is my refuge and strength

I know You are my refuge and strength because You have carried me through many struggles. I have encountered You, the Living God, and I am so thankful. You are a place of safety when things are rocking and rolling … boy howdy, have they been rocking and rolling lately! I recognize that I can truly run to You when I need help.

And I do.

You are my hiding place. You preserve me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. So why do I worry and why do I fret? Why do I allow the tentacles of anxiety to wrap around me in a suffocating grip? I do not need to fear. If God be for me, what can mere man do to me? What can this world throw my way, or what can the evil one use against me?

The Lord is My Refuge and Strength

I am Your child … a child of the Most High God. You are my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. You, Lord, are my refuge and strength. No harm can come near me, for I am held in Your hand, I am sealed in Your Holy Spirit.

You call me daughter.

In Jesus’s Name, I pray,

Amen ~ let it be so
