I Need Your Healing Balm to Touch Me, Lord
Father, You are the Lord — there is no other. You call me by name! May I never forget Your tender watchcare, for Your love astounds me. You found me in the wilderness place and brought me up into a haven of still waters and lush green pastures where I could rest from the harshness of this world. Your presence became a healing balm to me, Lord, a burst of joy.
And Your presence remains.
Your covenant love sustains me and gives me strength to face uncertain days. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. I feel the grip of Your hand and Your healing balm surges through the broken places and restores my soul.
I don’t deserve such love.
I fall to my knees in worship, and as I consider Your greatness, I am overcome by the magnificence of who You are, and I wonder how You could love me so beautifully. In the presence of Your holiness, Your healing balm soothes me and quiets me in the difficult places, and I find peace once again. Yes! My sorrow bursts into joy unspeakable as I am lifted above the fray into Your loving arms.
I Am Filled With a Burst of Joy When I Realize You are With Me, Lord
As sure as the sunrise, is Your faithfulness to me … mercies new every morning. You are steadfast. Trustworthy …
You are my God. I will praise You for as long as I live.
