Greater is He that is in me, than the evil one that is in the world
Father, how great You are! You are the Name above all names — the Almighty God, Maker of heaven and earth, Ruler of all things. You are greater than the evil one … this I know.
I do not need to fear uncertain days. I do not need to fear the evil one and the horrors he has unleashed on this earth for greater are You in me than he that is in the earth.
You are with me.
You are for me, and not against me.
Make me brave in these days of darkness that have descended upon this world. You have called me to be light, a Christ-bearer. What an honor You have given me — You have given all Your children. Awaken our hearts to understand that we have a holy responsibility to be ministers of reconciliation — reconciling others to You by sharing the grace and knowledge of Jesus.
Sometimes we cower — I know I do. But You are growing me in the area of witness and I’m so thankful. You give the words. You give the understanding, and You create divine opportunities to share Your love.
I need only to obey Your promptings … You do the rest.
People need You, Lord. And I believe people are hungry for Your touch because of the fear and worry the evil one is causing in the hearts of mankind. Greater are You, Lord … now and forevermore. The evil one must bow to You, to Your authority.
Remind me who I am to You, Lord
He can bring no harm to me — I am Your daughter, sheltered beneath the shadow of Your wings. Please help me remember who I am to You, Lord. Remind me who You are when the days are long and hard. Arise, O God, and scatter the enemies of my soul. May Your chariots of fire fill the skies as You race through the heavens to help Your people in these difficult days.
I trust You, Lord. Thank You for Your faithful watchcare over me, Your protection against the evil one.
