Your Love, Lord, Will Never Fail Me
Father, You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Regardless of the world condition, regardless of the evil plans of man, I find peace because of You — You are my blessed assurance, not the world systems. Your love will never fail me.
When I consider the heavens and the work of Your hands, I am overwhelmed by Your majesty. Indeed, You hold the whole world in Your hands and orchestrate the days of our lives. You are the God of all flesh! Nothing is too hard for You.
And nothing takes You by surprise.
I have blessed assurance that You will sustain me and my family, no matter what comes our way. Your people are shielded by You. When we walk through the turbulent waters, we will not drown because You are with us. When we pass through the flames of adversity, we will not be burned because You lift us high above the flames to shield and protect us. We have nothing to fear in uncertain days.
Blessed Assurance, Jesus is Mine
You tell us that if we lack wisdom, we are to ask You for it and You will give to us generously. Perhaps that is our biggest need, even above the physical needs of the coming days. Your people need wisdom on how to navigate the evil that is befalling the earth. We need wisdom to make decisions, we need discernment to know Your voice in the chaos.
Your Word is a lamp unto my feet. It is my daily bread that strengthens me and leads me on the paths of righteousness, providing me with blessed assurance that all is well. Stir up a hunger and a thirst in me for Your Word, and help me hide it on the pages of my heart so I can access its life-giving power in due season. I love Your Word and the steadfastness it provides to my day.
Hold me fast, Lord. Take me by the right hand and lead me on. I feel the grip of Your hand on mine and I can hear Your gentle whisper saying, “Do not fear, I will help you.” Thank You, Lord. I believe You.
You are My Blessed Assurance, Lord
You are my Redeemer and Friend, my perfect peace. You, Lord, are my blessed assurance in these troubling days. I will lift my eyes to behold Your glory and to remind me that I am Yours and You are mine. Blessed be Your Name.
