Lord, what would I do without You? When everything around me falls apart, You are steadfast. When fear slinks out of the darkness to taunt me, You give me courage and remind me that You are with me.
When despair consumes me and anxiety grips me, You are my Peace — not as the world gives, but perfect peace found only in You.
Life has taken some crazy, painful turns lately — most of them I don’t even understand and one-hundred percent of them I don’t like …
But I love You and I trust You.
I find comfort in Your sovereignty knowing that You have full authority over all things concerning me, and knowing that nothing — absolutely nothing — comes my way without Your knowledge.
I cling to this Truth and I find peace.
I cling to You and I am comforted.
When I forget who I am, remind me who You are and lead me back to the Cross where it all began. I cling to that old rugged cross and remember my redemption story. I remember Your love.
Awaken my heart to worship You. Open my eyes to see past the confusion of this messy life so that I may gaze into Your beautiful eyes where all is well.
When I cling to You I find my peace because You are my Sure Place, my Anchor in the storm.
When I cling to You I am no longer tossed to and fro by the lies of the enemy.
Tighten my grip, Lord. Clasp Your fingers in mine and lead me through these messy places. Your light dispels the darkness. Your Presence brings order to the chaos.
You are my God. I adore You and I worship Your holy Name. Great are You, Lord!
