“They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.” ~ Revelation 3:4
“The Lord your God is with you; the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” ~ Zephaniah 3:17
O Lord my God, how can You love me so? You are holy, perfect, magnificent and I … I am a sinner. Your sanctification is at work in me — and I’m thankful — but I still fall short on so many levels. Some days I don’t feel worthy of such remarkable love.
We walk with Him because He says we are worthy.

Yet You say I am worthy — I am Your child. Your Beloved. Your Special Treasure.
How is it that You see me like this rather than the imperfect woman that I am? Are You blinded by Your love, Lord, like a parent adores her child unconditionally?
Maybe, in a strange sort of way, that’s it — Your love for Your child is pure. It’s from everlasting to everlasting. It’s complete.
And You tell me, I am worthy even when I know I’m not, especially when I don’t feel worthy. Thank You, Lord.
Thank You for drawing me ever nearer. Thank You for transforming me into Your image from glory to glory. The chipping away, the Refiner’s Fire, isn’t pleasant and makes me aware of my unworthiness.
But You are showing me that the chipping away, the burning away of impurities, confirms I am worthy of Your love.
Some days I don’t feel worthy of such remarkable love
You see in me what I don’t see.
You see the diamond beneath the rugged stone.

You see the silver vessel beneath the swirling, molten silver in the fire.
You see the woman created in Your image, for Your glory, and for Your purposes.
You see me.
And You say I am worthy of Your love.
Bless You, Lord. Help me walk in this truth.
In Jesus’s Name I pray,
Amen
